About the Role:

Atlas is seeking a talented UI/UX Figma Designer (Ecommerce Store Design) to join our team full-time. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a critical role in designing high-quality, visually stunning Shopify themes and creating new visual components for our Atlas Theme. You will also be responsible for designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for our software and applications.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about UI/UX, design systems, and creating visually compelling, conversion-optimized designs tailored for e-commerce businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and refine Shopify themes and UI components for the Atlas Theme.
  • Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes using Figma.
  • Develop engaging, conversion-optimized UI/UX designs for e-commerce websites, software, and mobile applications.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of design elements.
  • Conduct user research, A/B testing, and usability testing to enhance user experience and optimize conversions.
  • Establish and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across all projects.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into visually compelling interfaces.
  • Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX and e-commerce design trends.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong focus on Figma.
  • Proven experience designing Shopify themes and working within Shopify’s ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce UX best practices and conversion-driven design principles.
  • Experience in designing software and mobile applications.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects, e-commerce stores, and application interfaces.
  • Ability to create responsive, mobile-friendly designs.
  • Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and user interface design.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines efficiently.

Compensation:

âś… Target base salary of $35,000 - $60,000

What Your First 90 Days Will Look Like:

  • Within 30 Days: Get familiar with Atlas’s design systems, tools, and current Shopify themes. Begin refining existing themes and contributing to UI component designs.
  • Within 60 Days: Take ownership of design projects, collaborate with developers for seamless implementation, and work on improving user experiences for e-commerce stores and applications.
  • Within 90 Days: Deliver high-quality Shopify themes and software UI/UX designs that enhance user experience and conversion rates. Establish a scalable design system and collaborate on new product features.
